What Are Integral Blinds?
Integral blinds, also known as built-in blinds or blinds between glass, are permanently sealed within the cavity of a double glazed unit. Instead of being attached to the window frame or hanging in front of the glass, the complete blind system is protected inside the glazing.
Depending on the selected system, the blinds can be raised, lowered or tilted using a magnetic control, cordless slider, remote control or motorised mechanism. This provides flexible control over privacy and daylight without introducing exposed blind components across the window or door.
Because the blinds are enclosed within the glass, they are protected from dust, dirty fingers and accidental damage. This makes them particularly useful for busy homes and large glazed areas where conventional blinds may require frequent cleaning or interfere with opening doors.
