Bright front doors or coloured window frames are nothing new, but colour technology has come a long way since the limited range of shades traditionally used.

Check out some of our favourite upcoming door and window colour ideas for 2023 and give your threshold a revamp.

White windows and doors

White frames are timeless and will never go out of style. Many might think white is obvious, but it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. It is the most popular choice by far, and if you want your home to look classic and timeless, then white will do just that.

Most homeowners choose white because it directly replaces existing windows and doors.

Cream windows and doors

White is typically the default colour for windows and doors. This is because it blends in with all other colours, but some feel white can also make your home feel sterile and lack personality. If you’re looking for something different, try opting for cream or ivory. It can make your home more inviting and is popular with traditional and heritage homes giving a soft yet clean finish.

Natural woodgrain windows and doors

Woodgrain uPVC windows and doors are used instead of installing traditional timber. Unlike modern uPVC window and door frames, which are usually finished in one smooth colour, woodgrain finishes have a beautiful wood effect finish using a high-quality foil coating which doesn’t rot, warp or split. They can be tailored in several authentic wood effects, such as Rosewood, Irish Oak, and Mahogany.

Not only do they have a traditional appearance, but woodgrain effect windows and doors have a stunning timber texture to them, giving you the best of both a heritage look with modern materials.
