“Droylsden Glass impressed us with their good value and their excellent reputation for quality and service.” Bob Hamilton
Bob Hamilton prefers, where possible, to choose locally based firms for any work required at the Permanoid offices. So when he was tasked with finding the best source for replacement windows he was delighted to spot a banner advertising Droylsden Glass.
It was a two-phase project to replace old, inefficient sliding aluminium and wooden windows with modern, energy saving PVCu frames and double-glazed units. Droylsden Glass were invited to survey the site and tender their proposal; which along with the price, window specifications and schedule of works, also included details of a number of successfully completed contracts within the area.
The price was within budget. The specification matched requirements. And the fact that Droylsden Glass had lots of successful local contracts, including schools and council work, was enough for Permanoid to award them the contract.
All the work went smoothly and to schedule, and included within the specification on the south facing aspect of the building was anti-sun glazing to reduce glare and solar gain during summer months and create a more comfortable working environment for the offices.
Bob Hamilton was delighted with a job well done.
