With the old glass paneled entrance way to their office building looking tired, Pepperl+Fuchs decided that the time had come to update it with a modern, energy efficient replacement. Consequently they approached a number of firms for advice and prices.
The company that impressed them most was Droylsden Glass, who having surveyed the project came up with a sound new design for the glazed aluminium curtain walling and entrance doors. Importantly, in addition to the stylish appearance, the Droylsden Glass proposals also included the latest thermally efficient framework and glazing specifications, including Pilkington ‘Active’ Neutral self-cleansing outer panes paired with low emissivity inner panes for enhanced thermal performance and cost effectiveness.
