New uPVC windows for stylish garage conversion project
Our clients for this Great Sutton property upgrade project wanted to convert their garage into an office for home working. They chose to work with Droylsden Glass because of our excellent customer reviews, choice of high-quality products, and recommendations from some of our previous customers.
For the window element of the project, we suggested using Liniar sculptured uPVC windows. Attractive and high performing, Liniar windows achieve an ‘A’ rating for energy efficiency. This helped to ensure that the new home working space was warm and comfortable while also reducing the property’s carbon footprint.
To maximise security, the new windows were specified with super-secure multi-point locking systems. These were selected with white handles to match the white window profiles while white Georgian bar inserts were chosen to match the style of the existing windows.
High performing composite door with Stormguard aluminium threshold
Our clients wanted to install a new entrance door to provide direct access to the garage conversion from the property’s driveway. They selected a high security composite door with GRP door slab and Stormguard aluminium threshold.
A black on white door slab was chosen to sit within the white outer frame while the glass design was selected to match the existing main entrance door with decorative leadwork and a beveled edge. In terms of security, the new composite door features a 3* security cylinder to maximise protection against forced entry attempts and provide peace of mind that the new working space is safe and secure.
