One of our recent projects was to provide highly efficient double glazed windows to the Sisters of Notre Dame convent in Southport. This particular part of the convent was being refurbished, and required upgraded windows in order to improve thermal insulation and help to reduce the cost of energy bills. Our expert team discussed possible solutions with the main contractor, and was able to advise on the best product for the job to meet the client’s individual needs.

To provide the order of Notre Dame with a warmer and more useable space, we wanted to ensure that the solution we suggested would not only increase U-values, but would be long-lasting and fit with the building’s aesthetic design.

After discussing the client’s requirements, we agreed to go ahead and install Senior Architectural Systems’ SPW300 system in mouse grey. Aesthetically, these ‘A’ rated double glazed windows have a slim sightline, improving the overall look of the property and optimising the view from inside. Made from thermally broken polyamide aluminium, the new windows will provide high levels of insulation, with the capacity for configuration with 4 to 32mm thick glass and infill panels, plus high weather resistance.
