How does triple glazing work?
Triple glazing adds a third glass pane into the specification. The glass surrounds two sections which are filled with argon-gas. As argon-gas is a conductor, it eliminates energy from escaping out of the glass. In the same way, it stops the draughts from entering your home. This design means that any home will instantly benefit from much more comfortable interior temperatures all year round, and energy bills will be significantly reduced.
Triple glazing originated from Scandinavian markets, however, it has emerged in popularity in the UK because of its outstanding energy efficiency capabilities. Our triple glazed products can achieve A+ & A++ energy ratings and incredibly low U-values, for superior thermal insulation performances that are the very best on the market.
The pioneering performance of triple glazing makes it ideal for homes in noisy areas, such as busy main roads or near airports. This is because the three glass panes are able to keep noise pollution out, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet inside of your rooms.
