We were recently involved in a very exciting project with the TV show DIY SOS Big Build – Veterans’ Special, in collaboration with Haig Housing and the organisation Walking with the Wounded, which works to support injured veterans and help them readjust to life outside the military. The aim of the show was to completely renovate an entire road in Manchester in order to provide affordable homes for veterans in the city, including a support centre where residents can access the help they need.

Our team contributed to the project by supplying and installing a PVCu window and two PVCu French doors. As with all our projects, we used high quality materials to complete the work. The PVCu was manufactured by Liniar and the double glazed units were from Padiham Glass, both of whom are renowned for excellence. Combined with our skill and experience with installation, we were able to achieve excellent results and a beautiful finish on the doors and window.

The show is due to be aired on the 14th and 21st of October, and we’re looking forward to seeing our handiwork being featured on TV. This is an amazing and worthwhile project which will provide injured veterans with the comfortable, secure and well-equipped homes they need to reintegrate into society, and we were proud to be a part of it. Our double glazed installations will help to make homes more comfortable and provide effective insulation, while also adding an aesthetic boost.

As the leading suppliers of commercial and residential double glazing in Oldham and throughout Greater Manchester, this is just one of the many tasks we have worked on in recent months. We pride ourselves on the wide range of different projects we have worked on and we are excited to find out what exciting ventures we will be involved in next.
